Membership-Based Health Care

 

We built our clinic around memberships for a simple reason: peri/menopause isn't a single moment in time. It's more like a winding path that unfolds differently for each woman. Just as you wouldn't expect a single doctor's visit to solve ongoing health issues, menopause care needs continuous attention and fine-tuning.

That's why we believe in building lasting relationships with our patients. Through regular check-ins and ongoing support, we can adjust your care as your needs change. This approach lets us truly listen to you, track your progress, and make sure you're not just surviving menopause – you're thriving through it.

However, we understand that membership care isn't for everyone. That's why we offer you the chance to meet us before making any decisions. We provide a video visit with our practitioner where you can discuss your medical history, symptoms, needs, and goals. During this session, the provider will go over a treatment plan with you and send a written summary of options and recommendations.

You have the freedom to decide when or if you want to join our membership. You can choose to sign up right away, take a couple of weeks to think it over, or decide not to move forward at all. We're all about providing you with choices and empowering you to make the decision that's best for you.

Payments and Insurance

 

Why We're Insurance-Free (And How This Benefits You)

We've made a deliberate choice to operate outside the insurance network system. Here's why: The average in-network provider can only spend 10-15 minutes with each new patient. We think that's not nearly enough time to understand your unique needs.

Instead, we've built our practice differently. We set aside a full 60 minutes for every new patient visit. By skipping the paperwork and negotiations with insurance companies, we can focus that time and energy where it belongs – on you.

How Payment Works:

  • We keep our costs affordable through a straightforward self-pay model
  • We accept all major credit cards and FSA/HSA cards
  • Upon request, we'll provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company

Prescriptions & Labs:

  • Your prescriptions go directly to your pharmacy and can be covered by your insurance
  • For lab work, you have options:
    • Use your insurance at any lab facility
    • Choose discounted cash pricing at LabCorp or Quest ($50-100 for initial labs, around $50 for follow-ups)

During your first video visit, we'll discuss whether lab work is necessary based on your medical history – it's not needed for everyone.

Note: While we're happy to help you understand your options, please direct specific insurance questions about lab work or imaging to those facilities, as they operate independently from our practice.


 

 We're an out-of-network medical practice and do not bill insurance providers. Federal regulation prevents us from seeing patients with Medicare or Medicaid.  

Membership-Based Pricing

Initial Consultation

$50

In the initial consultation, you will meet with your healthcare provider via video.  This includes a comprehensive review of your medical history, a collaborative discussion to develop a  personalized treatment plan and shared-decision making.  Your provider will send you a summary of the visit afterwards.  Please note that the initial visit fee does not include prescription management. If you choose to move forward with a treatment plan, you can enroll in our monthly membership. 

Monthly Membership

$85/month

Membership includes implementing your treatment plan, prescription management, monitoring blood work, unlimited direct messaging with your provider (with 24 hour or less response time) through the patient portal and secure for ongoing support, priority scheduling, and follow-up visits (phone or video within 48 hours) with your provider to ensure your treatment is effective and to monitor for any potential side effects. This is a recurring charge, and you may cancel at any time.

3-month Membership Program

$225 per quarter (3 months)

This 3-month membership includes implementing your treatment plan, prescription management, monitoring blood work, unlimited direct messaging with your provider through the patient portal and secure email and text for ongoing support, priority scheduling, and follow-up visits with your provider to ensure your treatment is effective and to monitor for any potential side effects. This is a recurring charge, and you may cancel at any time. * Blood work can be done using health insurance or paid wit

HOW IT WORKS

 

*Prescriptions are sent to your local pharmacy and are typically covered by insurance.  If you do not have insurance, we can send your prescription to a compounding pharmacy

*Blood work can be done using health insurance or paid with a discounted cash price.

*We do take HSA/FSA cards.

*We can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement upon request.

*Membership fee is a recurrent monthly charge.  You may cancel at any time. 

All initial visits are via telehealth. You must be in the state of Louisiana at the time of your visit to receive care.  While most of our care can be provided virtually, testosterone treatments specifically require an in-person visit once per year for your safety and optimal care. We're flexible with in-person appointments - we can either come to you for a home visit or meet at a local office in your area, depending on your location.   We also offer educational events in-person in New Orleans.
